We’ll assume that you already know how to add tasks to a workflow and have added the ‘Validate a phone number’ Numverify task to your workflow.
Integrating Numverify with Kotive happens in two steps:
1. Connect your Numverify account:
In your workflow in Kotive, select the Numverify task and navigate to the Account details tab.
Select the green button that says Connect your Numverify account now.
Name the account under Account label - the email address that you use for your Numverify account would work well as a way to identify it.
To locate your API Key, log into your Numverify account.
Copy your API Key.
Next, head back to your Kotive tab, and paste your API Key in the API access key field.
Under Use ‘http’ or ‘https’? Enter ‘https’ if you use a paid plan or ‘http’ if you use their free plan. Click the green Save button in the bottom right-hand corner.
Your Numverify account has now been connected to your workflow.
2. Setup the 'Validate a phone number' Numverify task:
Select the Numverify tab of the ‘Validate a phone number’ Numverify task.
Under Phone number, enter the phone number that needs to be verified.
Under Country code, specify a country code if you intend to use a national phone number for your request, e.g. US.
Done! You have now fully integrated your Numverify account with your Kotive workflow. When a workflow runs, phone numbers entered into the workflow with be checked and verified by Numverify.
You can add conditions to your Numverify tasks in the same manner as with any of the other tasks in your workflow.
